Robert
Mechielsen’s Studio-RMA, founded
in 1985, consists of a core group of exceptional design talent, and a
large support team of specialists.
The
team is international, with European education and experience and fluent
in many languages. Work features residential and commercial designs in the
greater Los Angeles area, across the US, Hawaii and internationally.
Studio-RMA
is known for innovative residential work, and high-profile commercial
projects. The
studio is located in Topanga Canyon, in the Santa Monica Mountains,
California
Robert
has a fast, powerful, well-managed visionary imagination. He can focus on
a complex set of issues and fire off rapid strands of associative thinking
that emerge in drawings and ultimately evolve in the ‘Architectural
Concept’.
Robert's
focus has always been on the ‘Art of Architecture’, in understanding
how space can affect the human emotion. Currently he is working on a
design for the ice-hotel in Sweden.
